Abbey of Puy Notre Dame, is 15km south
of Saumur, in the beautiful Loire valley.

Tennis, fishing, riding and many other
activities can be arranged in the local
town of Doue la Fontaine, 3kms away, which
also has a superb zoo. |

Over
the years the chateau has hosted many
events including vintage car rallies,
yoga retreats, choral master classes,
Burns
nights, pottery and art workshops, fancy
dress balls and weddings. |

The peace of the place, surrounded
by fields of vines, roses and sunflowers
is ideal for group holidays - yoga,
new age therapies, cookery and wine
tasting, cycling, walking or just
looking around without a guide. |

Our
local priest, Farther Kevin, can perform
Catholic marriage ceremonies or
blessings, either in our charming English
speaking church locally or in the grounds
of the chateau. Everything, from the
cake, flowers, cocktails, lunch and discos/live
music can be organised by us for up to
100 guests. <
